The Power of Activated Oxygen

Before I explain Activated Oxygen, let us explore some of mother nature’s most astounding capabilities. Oxygen by itself have some amazing properties – not only for humans but also for plants, water and air. Let’s start with Ozone first, which most of us had heard is the bad stuff.  Depletion of the “the ozone layer” is the most common. However, during a lightning strike nature creates ozone. It feels fresh. The smell is breathtaking.  So why are we so against it? The term “ozone” has gotten a bad rap because when ozone levels rise in our environment, some really bad things happen. We’re likely to get sick in various ways. But ozone is not the problem. It’s the pollutants that get caught in the ozone that make us ill. In reality, ozone itself is actually nature’s way of cleansing.

SO… the question is “how does it work”. Since ozone is heavier than oxygen, it “falls” through the air. As it does, it attaches to pollutants and cleans the air we breathe. The formula for ozone is O3. That third atom is like a scavenger, destroying pollutants, bacteria, viruses, odors, and free radicals. This radical has a very short half-life. Unfortunately, this powerful third atom lasts for only about 5.3 seconds to about 20 minutes depending on the environment before it perishes, leaving behind pure oxygen. But while it lasts, ozone’s extra atom is a natural powerhouse of healing.

Allow me to explain the technology of Activated Oxygen. In comparison to ozone, Activated Oxygen (AO) is a process when the singlet oxygen is contained. Although few studies have been conducted in the United States, activated oxygen plant and vegetable extracts have been extensively researched in other countries. For example, in Cuba and Russia, scientists have been publishing original research on the effects of Activated Oxygen to sunflower and olive oils for more than 40 years. This research has shown that these oils offer good antimicrobial activity, resulting in no harm to the patient or operator. In Santiago, Chile, researchers have shown sunflower oil is an effective antifungal and safe alternative to ringworm topical treatment.

Step 1 – an oxygen molecule is captured, recovered or pushed from any oxygen source.

Step 2 – through a process, whether ultra-violet or cold plasma plates the Oxygen Molecule is split (O2) into atomic Oxygen (O1)

Step 3 – a 3 atom molecule is formed attaching to the oxygen

Step 4 – the O3 molecule performs oxidation and decomposing functions.

Step 5 – in the decomposing process Activated Oxygen is harnessed.

The secret is to infuse Activated Oxygen in liquids, i.e. oils, creams, water, gels etc. and keep to keep in active state. Our technology is a unique methodology that provides the Singlet Oxygen atom to suspend within the media used to provide the ultimate benefits for topicals such as oils and creams.

When this O molecule is embedded in oil’s at high concentrations under a controlled environment, a catalytic reaction occurs that actually changes the oil and three primary organic peroxides are created through the entire process. In other words, the first peroxide reacts a second time to produce a second peroxide, then one more time to form a long chain terpene ozonide.  And by using our proprietary technology, these oils and creams can stay for up to ten years if refrigerated and is natural, needing no chemicals, preservatives or stabilizers to maintain.

Activated Oxygen (AO) oils and creams are a powerful natural remedy for a variety of health concerns, especially for your skin. They effectively moisturize the skin and improve the appearance of blemishes, age spots, fine lines, and wrinkles.

They also work successfully to:

  • Fight infections (bacterial, viral, and fungal infections including gingivitis, athletes’ foot, and herpes)
  • Soothe skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis)
  • Heal wounds (insect bites and stings, cuts, burns, leg ulcers, bed sores)

“AO oils” have been used in European skin care for decades. You could say it’s one of the continent’s best kept beauty secrets. Until now.

The skin, along with the respiratory tract, is directly exposed to environmental pollutants including O3, an important constituent of photochemical smog. Although numerous studies have documented effects of O3 on the respiratory tract in animals and humans, only recently some studies characterizing its effect on cutaneous tissue have been published. The skin consists of two main layers, the inner dermis, mainly composed of fibroblasts and connective tissue matrix, and the outer epidermis, which contains keratinocytes that, by progressively differentiating to form enucleate corneocytes, become imbedded in a lipid matrix and together comprise the outermost part of the epidermis, the stratum corneum.

Previous studies have shown that exposure to O3 results in the depletion of both water soluble and lipophilic antioxidants such as uric acid, ascorbic acid, and tocopherol, and this was accompanied by increase in parameters of both lipid peroxidation and protein modification, primarily in the outermost skin layers. In further studies, scientists’ were also able to show that the exposure of hairless mice to O3 will not only deplete the antioxidant levels and increase oxidative markers but these molecules are able to induce active cell responses.

Various international studies show Activated Oxygen Constituents work successfully to:

  • Combat Inflammation
  • Fight infections (bacterial, viral, and fungal infections including gingivitis, athletes’ foot, and herpes)
  • Soothe skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis)
  • Heal wounds (insect bites and stings, cuts, burns, leg ulcers, bed sores)

Oils

In case you are wondering — organic oils like castor, jojoba, and hemp do not clog pores. In fact, oils containing omega-3, -6, and -9 essential fatty acids have a positive, anti-inflammatory effect on the epidermis, while slowing down trans-epidermal water loss.

After only a week, the organic AO jojoba oil can make our faces glow. It can also help in women who suffers from menstrual-related breakouts. The oils seem to just breathe new life right into skin’s cells.

According to studies, AO oils support skin health in several powerful ways, including their ability to:

  • Normalize the blood bactericidal activity
  • Increase the level of lysozyme and phagocytic activity
  • Boost the production of antibodies

As researchers and users have observed, AO oils promote rapid cell renewal and skin protection. And in our polluted toxic world that means prevention of unnecessary aging.

The Formula

Omega 3s (x3) + Omega 6s (x2) + Omega 9s (x1) = POI

Importance of AO Strength Spectrum

Each oil has a different amount of 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids and each fatty acid is weighed differently for the formula.  There are many oils that do well with AO, but how can you tell the difference when it comes to oil’s? The best way to tell the difference is by the amount of 3, 6, and 9 fatty acid percentages the oil holds. Oils with a higher percentage of fatty acids typically hold more strength spectrum.

For example, hemp oil has a lot of 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids so it holds the most AO out of all the oils. Olive oil has very little omega 3s and 6s but lots of omega 9s, putting it in the middle as far as strength.

Important: Keep in mind that just because one oil holds more AO, doesn’t necessarily make it better. You also have to look at how well the oil absorbs and how it interacts with your particular skin. For instance, AO olive oil absorbs very well but AO hemp oil does not. It tends to act as a water-resistant salve. AO jojoba oil and AO coconut oil are on the lower end of the spectrum, making them especially popular for beauty applications and for those with sensitive skin. They also have the highest absorption rate.
